Lavender vodka lemonade is super refreshing and only requires 3 simple ingredients! This delightful cocktail is tart, sweet and floral in flavor. It is perfect for the warmer summer months!

Vodka lemonade is a popular summer cocktail! Lemonade is so refreshing and adding lavender simple syrup really steps it up to a more elegant beverage.

This lavender lemonade cocktail is perfect for brunch, BBQ's and summer get togethers. It pairs well with grilled eggplant sandwiches and watermelon, arugula and goat cheese salad.

Ingredient Notes

  • Vodka - Use your favorite brand! My go-to brands are Reyka or Tito's vodka.
  • Lavender simple syrup - you can buy your own or make it following my honey lavender simple syrup recipe!
  • Lemonade - use your favorite lemonade!

Substitutions & Variations

  • Vodka - try using lemon flavored vodka! You can also try gin, rum or even tequila!
  • Gluten Free - use gluten free vodka such as Tito's.
  • Sparkling - use sparkling lemonade instead of regular!
  • Pink lemonade - swap in pink lemonade instead of regular! you can also use Pink Whitney vodka!
  • Blueberry - add 2 tablespoons of blueberry to a cocktail shaker. Muddle them with the lavender simple syrup. Add the rest of the ingredients, shake well and strain.
  • Vanilla - add ¼ teaspoon to ½ teaspoon of vanilla extract to the cocktail shaker.
  • Mint - muddle mint at the bottom of a cocktail shaker. Add the rests of the ingredients, shake and enjoy!

Shake well for about 20 seconds until chilled.

Pour into a glass over ice.

Garnish with a lemon wheel and enjoy!

Hint: I recommend serving this cocktail in a tall glass such as a highball glass.

Storage

You can make this lavender lemonade cocktail up to 3 days ahead of time (without the ice). Store it in the fridge until ready to serve. Add the ice just before serving so it doesn't get watered down.

You can freeze this into popsicles or ice cube trays to make a slushy! It won't completely freeze due to the alcohol but it will be slushy.

Top tip

Fill each glass about 60-70% full of ice. Vodka lemonade tastes best when served ice cold!

Vodka mixes well with lemonade due to its neural flavor. This is called a vodka lemonade! You can try mixing other spirits such as rum, tequila or gin with lemonade.

How do you make Vodka lemonade?

You will need vodka and lemonade to make a vodka lemonade cocktail. You can also mix in flavored simple syrup such as lavender! Simple combine the ingredients with ice in a shaker. Shake well, pour over ice and enjoy!

  • Fill a cocktail shaker halfway with ice.
  • Add the vodka, lavender simple syrup and lemonade.
  • Shake for 20 seconds or until chilled.
